Our pneumatic relief valves allow air to escape in only one direction and reliably prevent air from entering. In this way, they protect internal components and meet the highest protection standards, such as IP65. They ensure stable pressure equalization in enclosures, pneumatic systems, or sensitive assemblies.
In the example shown, venting is achieved using a G1/4 vent valve equipped with several vent slots. Two O-rings provide reliable protection against the ingress of foreign substances.
The number of holes and O-rings depends on the pressure, flow rate, and permissible pressure drop across the valve. Lead-free aluminum was selected as the material and subsequently black anodized to ensure corrosion protection and durability. The hardness of the O-rings was set to 70 Shore to effectively protect the holes while maintaining the specified pressure drop
