General information

Compressed air cylinders are often controlled in combination with various control and safety functions.
These can include a pressure regulator, a pressure relief valve, a stop valve for monitoring pressure failures or a 5/2-way control valve for short travel and fast switching.
It may also be necessary to process one or more logic signals.

Problem definition

The connection of compressed air cylinders with the above-mentioned control and safety functions usually requires a lot of space for hoses and cables to connect these devices together. This space is often not available and there is also a risk of leaks with so many connections.

Solution

We have specialized in integrating these control and safety valves directly into the cylinder.
For example, the pressure regulator for stabilizing the force in the cylinder and the pressure relief valve can be integrated directly into the base cover of the cylinder.
The stop valve is also optimally fitted into the pressure connection and a control valve is either flange-mounted or also integrated into the cover.
We develop and manufacture this cylinder base cover according to the many functions and offer the customer a ready-made plug & play solution in which all connections and functions have already been 100% tested before delivery.
